Career Counseling & Placement Services
Berkeley College offers a wide range of Career Counseling, development and Placement Services. Over 20 career professionals, covering all of the academic majors, work to gather information on internships and employment opportunities in the region surrounding the seven New York and New Jersey facilities.
An Orientation program to the Career Services Department commences during the first quarter wherein a career counselor introduces students to the services provided by the department. The career specialists and students can start a partnership which enables the students to explore career opportunities in a forum.
We will work with you to create a resume and learn techniques to succeed in a job interview, so you are truly ready to nail down that perfect career. We frequently organize employer presentations and Career Day events on the campus. All students are required to complete the Placement Seminar, which covers the exploration of career opportunities, interview preparation, and the process of searching for a job.
Internship Opportunities
Career specialists work with students to gain internship opportunities and full-time positions which are best suited to students' capabilities and interests. A broad array of fields is covered in the interviews.
