• Grants are based on students financial needs.
• Funding is available; students who receive a Pell Grant as part of their financial aid package will also receive a SEOG Grant.
• Availability of funding to the college determines the amount of the SEOG grant.
• 6 months after you leave college is when payments for this loan begin.
• Interest on the loan is covered by the government while you are studying, in addition to six months after you finish your studies.
• During the program and the six-month grace period, interest will accrue.
• Parents can borrow low-interest loans for payment of students tuition as part of this federal loan program.
