Types of Financial Aid

Students accepted for enrollment at Colorado Technical University can receive financial assistance if their personal situation is not able to meet the entire cost of their tuition. For those who qualify we have alternative financing options.

For students who meet the qualifications, there are three types of federal financial aid, including:

• Grants, scholarships, and Pell Grants - these, you do not have to repay.
• A loan - For example the Federal Stafford Loan, is financial aid that you will need to pay back.
• Earned Assistance - The Federal Work-Study Program is an example of financial assistance you can earn.
