Dental Technician in Pennsylvania

Dental technician schools in Pennsylvania offer training programs for various careers in the dental field. Aside from the dentist himself, there are several other employees who work as part of a dental team. These include front office staff, office managers, billing and coding specialists, dental assistants, and dental hygienists. The training program for each of these careers will be different, although each will have things like ethics and dental terminology that all employees need to know. Dental hygienists usually receive a college degree and they must be licensed by the state. Dental assistants can complete diploma programs or an associate’s degree, and national certification is optional.
