DENTAL ASSISTANT

The Dental Assistant program prepares students for entry-level employment as a Dental Office Manager in a variety of settings.

The breadth of this program gives learners:

  • Laboratory, didactic and clinical education in chairside assisting procedures
  • Knowledge of infection control
  • Common treatment procedures performed in a dental office setting
  • Basic training in front office procedures

Clarita places emphasis on the guidelines required by the California Dental Board of Examiners as we plan our curriculum for the Registered Dental Assistant Program with basic training in front office procedures. After completing the program successfully, each Clarita graduate will be provided with a Certificate for Dental X-Ray and Coronal Polishing.
