Illinois School of Health Careers

The Dental diploma program provides individuals with all of the required skills and training they need to seek entry-level positions in the dental field.

You will be eligible to work as a dental assistant for a practicing dentist, orthodontist, oral surgeon or pediatric dentist.

You will develop valuable skills needed for any Dental Assistant, such as preparing patients for treatment, examining orthodontic appliances, taking impressions, as well as performing other dental procedures. An externship at a dental facility is added, in order to give you the real world confidence and experience you need to begin your new job.
