Imagine America is one of the scholarship programs that are available to high school graduates who are interested in pursing a career college education. This is an innovative and far-reaching program. Through it, three graduating seniors from each high school in the USA and Puerto Rico are eligible annually to receive an Imagine America scholarship of $1000.
The Imagine America scholarship is available to any high school senior who plans to attend a participating career school or college.
Listed below are some of the standards of admissions requirements to the college:
- GPA of 2.5 or higher in high school (using the 4 point scale);
- Financial need;
- Performed voluntary community service throughout their senior year; and
- Probability of successful completion of post-secondary education.

Qualified students may be eligible for financial assistance in the form of grants and loans. The College makes it a top priority to help students find the financial aid they need to finish their chosen degree. If applicants require financial aid, they should put in the financial aid application with their application for Florida Technical College.
Students, who want to be awarded financial assistance through any of the available programs, should ask for details and appropriate financial aid advice from FTC. Students who need help with filling out and submitting their financial aid forms to the proper authority will be able to receive it through the Financial Aid Administrator. It is the student's responsibility that all information be correct. Grants, scholarships, and loans are the three components of student financial aid packages. However, be aware that loans have to be paid back, and should not be taken as entitlements.
All students who have received any financial assistance during their attendance at Florida Technical College are required to complete an exit interview with the Financial Aid Administrator before leaving, regardless of their reason for doing so.

Medical Billing and Coding Specialist: Diploma Program
Students will be trained to achieve entry level positions in health care administrative offices through a combination of clinical and administrative training in the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program.

Our Training Goals
All the students enrolled in our Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Diploma program will go through an accelerated training program with special courses designed for acquiring the skillset needed for working in a health care office.
