Herzing University

Herzing University was one of the first institutions of higher learning to offer students training for the computer industry. Ever since 1965, Herzing has placed its focus and emphasis on business and computer-related education; a focus and emphasis that has not wavered even as it expanded to establish six U.S campuses and five Canadian campuses along with its Online Division, herzingonline.com.

As campus and online options have expanded, Herzing has also developed a more diverse array of popular educational programs, including business management, electronics, health care, design, and public safety. It also expanded the types of credentials it offers, no longer offering only diplomas, but now offering associate and bachelor's degrees at all of its U.S. campuses.

The executives and managers of Herzing University are respected leaders in their professions, and Herzing is recognized throughout the United States for its service to the community.

Institutional Goals

Herzing University has set the following goals to help it complete its mission:

• To strive for an environment in which value is placed on both high ethical standards and a commitment to community service, and in which both students and employees are motivated to achieve and excel.
• To assist all aspiring qualified students to complete the admission requirements so they have access to any of Herzing University's career development programs.
• To design and offer career-based programs in higher education combining a knowledge-based curriculum with development of the technical skills sought by employers.
• To formulate and offer general education programs which help students improve their communication skills in writing, speech, and analysis, and foster their academic and personal growth.
• To prepare and provide services to students that will provide them with a well-rounded education and improve their chances of reaching their career goals.
• To ensure a continuous growth in the achievement of the institutional objectives, by evaluating, revising, and improving the major programs offered by the University.
