Hesser Business College was founded in Manchester, New Hampshire in the year 1900 and continues to adhere to the principle of providing individual encouragement and assistance to all students instilled by its founder, Joel H. Hesser.

From 1975, Hesser started to develop the educational services it offered outside of Manchester, by opening an extension campus in Nashua, New Hampshire. Portsmouth, Salem, and Concord were the sites of additional campus sites that opened in later years.

Hesser College is now a proud member of the Kaplan Higher Education Corporation, known for diverse, career focused post-secondary education. Hesser College upholds its relationship with Kaplan Higher Education Corporation by providing excellent education and resources to its students.
