Hesser Business College was founded in Manchester, New Hampshire in the year 1900 and continues to adhere to the principle of providing individual encouragement and assistance to all students instilled by its founder, Joel H. Hesser.

From 1975, Hesser started to develop the educational services it offered outside of Manchester, by opening an extension campus in Nashua, New Hampshire. Portsmouth, Salem, and Concord were the sites of additional campus sites that opened in later years.

By taking part in our Massage Therapy Program, you are able to reach the entry-level position as it introduces you to the following:

• Proper body and table mechanics and draping
• The history of massage therapy
• Basic organ structure and function
• Charting Client intake and progress
• Demonstration of ROM
• Basic health and hygiene procedure
• The core techniques of sports massage
• The role of nutrition as it affects the client and massage therapist
• Resume writing, preparing for interviews, and conducting professional search.

Our Massage Therapy Program enables you to take a New Hampshire state approved written exam and a New Hampshire approved practical licensing exam, if applicable.

Graduates are awarded a diploma upon completion of the program.
