HIPAA Training in Idaho

HIPAA training in Idaho is provided online, onsite or offsite to anyone who works directly or indirectly with medical or healthcare patients. HIPAA training is offered in several categories that include security, privacy and awareness. Most office personnel who deal with patient information and medical records are required to take the general awareness training offered by HIPAA. The program curriculum includes an introduction of HIPAA, transactions, code sets and identifiers, privacy, security, the history of HIPAA and the implementation of HIPAA. A final exam is issued at the end of the program and students are expected to pass in order to receive a certification.
