Medical Transcription

Healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, therapists, nurses, dieticians, chiropractors and others, all rely upon the legal documents created by our students.

The Medical Transcription program at TechSkills prepares students to embark on an exciting new career. Our students will be well qualified to take the Certified Medical Transcriptionist exam, which is widely respected in the health care industry.

Our all inclusive curriculum gives our graduates the confidence they need in their knowledge and skills to seek successful employment. The TechSkills' unique learning model gives the students the opportunity to work at their own pace, and it also allows the student to contact a professionally-certified instructor in person, by telephone, or electronically. Our students have their choice as to where to study, whether they prefer to learn at the Learning Center, at home, work, or any place that they have access to the Internet. What this means for our students is that training schedules can be arrange to fit into the demands of everyday life.

Program Length: 28 weeks

Pre-Requisites: High school diploma or GED are strongly recommended.

Students should be proficient in English on a 12th grade level. Those students with weak typing skills may require additional coursework on the subject.
