The Associate Degree of Applied Business in Business Office Technology with an emphasis in Medical Assisting program is keyed toward providing students with the skills needed to work in conjunction with a physician.

Employment options include positions in the Medical Assistant at entry-level, pharmacy technician, a medical receptionist, a laboratory technician, processing insurance billing, phlebotomist, clinical aide, insurance claims agent, office manager, and other medical and clerical positions in the medical field. The training you receive in the areas of physical exams, EKG procedures, venipuncture, and urinalysis will be hands on and prepare you to work alongside physicians and other medical professionals.
