Texas Patient Care Tech Schools.

Patient care tech schools in Texas offer certificates to students who desire to work directly with patients in a variety of medical settings. Patient care techs generally perform duties that some would deem unpleasant such as changing bed pans, performing personal hygiene on patients, and changing soiled linens. Most patient care techs work in senior facilities or private homes taking care of the elderly. The job is often used as a stepping stone to a career in nursing or medical assisting. The job is expected to increase by a staggering 50% through 2018.
