Pharmacy Technician: Diploma
The U.S. Department of Labor reports that eight of the 20 professions expected to show the quickest growth are in the field of medical care. As a result, there is a growing requirement for qualified pharmacy technicians to help licensed pharmacists as they prepare medications and other health care products for consumers. Technicians may be responsible for establishing and maintaining patient records, preparing insurance claims, and taking inventory of prescription and over-the-counter medications. In addition, the technician's duties may include making unit dose medications, IV admixtures and sterile irrigations.
Program Objectives

To qualify for a pharmacy technician job in Arizona, you must successfully complete the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE) sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). This program can help you to get absolutely ready for the exam.
