Florida Phlebotomy Schools.

Phlebotomy training in Florida may teach students the skills needed to draw blood from patients who have been referred for blood testing by physicians or nurses. Blood samples are used to help identify, diagnose, refute and treat medical conditions. Many people may be required to get blood drawn as a routine part of an annual physical examination. Phlebotomy students may learn how to draw blood safely and without physically harming the patient. Students may take phlebotomy training to use as a stepping stone to a career as a medical assistant or nurse. Most programs may have an internship component where students usually work in a medical facility.
