Certificate Programs: Iridology
Iridology is a method of assessment that may be helpful for traditional naturopaths as well as natural health and holistic nutrition consultants. This certificate program prepares students to take the IIPA certification examination and is recognized by the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA). Anatomy and physiology, introduction to iridology, theory and practice of iridology (levels 1-4), and an overview of the consulting process are the covered subjects.
Ellen Tart Jensen, Ph.D., Clayton College of Natural Health adjunct faculty member, past president of IIPA, and former assistant to the late Dr. Bernard Jensen - the "Father of American Iridology", conducted video classes as a resource for this program. Students will have the opportunity to use several different iridology tools and acquire hands-on practice in completing this program.
IIPA Certification
Students who have earned a certificate through CCNH may take the IIPA certification examination immediately upon completion of the iridology program. This exam is not a part of the CCNH program, but is administered separately by the IIPA.
