Virginia College; Greenville, South Carolina
Both the certificate and associate's degree program at Virgina College thoroughly equip students to work in a variety of environments, from spas and health centers to sports centers and more. Different techniques are be taught during the flexible two-year program through in-class bodywork, ensuring that the student is well-trained in a variety of methods, and preparing graduates to find a job on the market or even open their own massage therapy business.
Students will prepare for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) exam to become certified. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and career placement assistance is available to ensure graduate success.
National University of Health Sciences; Lombard, Illinois
This campus offers both a one year certification program and an Associate of Applied Science degree. Either program choice will prepare students for the national board exam and certification by the NCBTMB. Students who complete the certificate program have the option to continue on to the associate program and there is also an introductory course held over four evenings for students wishing to get a taste of massage therapy, This introductory course must be taken and passed before continuing to the other programs.

Classes are help each day (Monday to Friday), with 6 hours of teaching per day for full-time students, and 3 hours per day for part-timers. Total tuition ranges from $4,750 to $13,010 depending on program choice and includes all books, uniforms, and application fees.
Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy is accredited through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and is therefore eligible to give financial aid.
