Massage therapy schools in Alberta offer students post-secondary massage therapy programs that enable them to become massage therapists. Most programs can be completed in less than one year and average 500 hours. The learning environment is hands-on and fast-paced. Students are expected to spend hours in and outside of the classroom practicing.
