Massage Therapy Schools in Missouri

Massage therapy schools in Missouri train students through the use of a solid science background and massage courses that allow them to achieve a two year associate’s degree in massage therapy.  Students become licensed massage therapists upon graduation. Courses allow students to learn the history of massage as well as the ethics that are required to work in the field. Students are required to learn both CPR and first aid and to receive a certification in both. Students are also required to learn how to assess patients and select the best style of massage treatment for the individual. Most Missouri schools offer an on-campus clinic that allows students to clock hours working in the field of massage.
