Students are prepared through college courses that include such subject matter as Swedish massage, sports massage, pregnancy and baby massage, Shiatsu, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and nutrition. Students are required to complete most of the work outside the classroom through hands-on approaches to study. Experience in massage is the best approach to learning the techniques and therefore a lot of practice is required. The program is fast-paced and requires the students be focused and determined to succeed.
