What Do We Prepare You To Do?

We teach you a variety of therapeutic techniques to be used to message soft tissues that have been affected by stress, illness and injury. Your clients are benefited by your professional skills through stress reduction, energy renewal, flexibility increment, improvement in posture and more.

You will be prepared to open and manage your own massage therapy business with the professional skills learned in this program.

What could you expect from our Massage Therapy program offered to you?

The Massage Therapy Program gives you:

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology in relation to the soft tissue injury and treatment
  • Supervised training in Swedish Massage and other treatments like hydrotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage and spa treatments
  • Directions for the use of proper body mechanics for injury prevention
  • Education in nutrition, stress management and wellness
  • Training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, (CPR) certification
  • Comprehensive study of skills needed to start and operate Massage Therapy Business * Supervised Clinic in a clinical setting.

Classroom Procedures

No prerequisites are required as each course stands alone as a unit of study. A student can continue through the sequence of courses until they are complete after entering a program at the beginning of any course.

Supervised Clinic

You will have the opportunity to participate in a six-week supervised clinic once you finish the coursework. You will practice what you learned during the classroom segment of the schoolwork during this time.

This supervised clinic, which is unpaid, requires a full 120 hours of work.
