Massage Therapy

The massage Therapy program we offer covers both practical and theoretical instruction in massage, anatomy, physiology, pathology, ethics, clinical practice and hygiene. Our program also trains you in therapeutic massage principles, allied therapeutic modalities and hydrotherapy, massage techniques including the external application of water, cold, heat, topical preparations, and mechanical devices. There are two things included in the core curriculum- a lecture component and a clinical component. In the final externship you will have supervised experiences in clinical environment, which requires you to complete competencies, logs and evaluations. Following completion of this program, students who have persevered through their classes and externship, studied hard, and developed their skills will most likely be able to successfully find entry-level jobs in the massage therapy field, working as massage therapists.
