LPN Programs in Missouri

Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) work in the front lines of patient care. They may take vital signs, observe and assess the condition of their patients, and work along with doctors and registered nurses. A diploma from one of the accredited LPN programs in Missouri can contribute to building your skills in this field as well as augmenting your medical knowledge. Coursework in these programs includes anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, patient care, patient assessment, communication, types of nursing care, and medical terminology. Nurses need to be licensed before embarking on their careers, and passing the National Council Licensure Exam is required by all states.
