Nursing Programs in Connecticut

Nursing programs in Connecticut offer postsecondary courses in nursing that once completed qualify students to become registered nurses (RNs). Most programs are offered at the two-year associate’s and four-year bachelor’s degree levels although some schools confer master’s degrees in nursing. Students with bachelor’s and master’s often become administrators that lead entire departments. Nursing programs in Connecticut are competitive and only offer admission to the most qualified applicants. Students should be prepared to take up to one year taking prerequisite classes in order to meet application requirements. Once admitted students will face a rigorous curriculum designed to be hands-on and highly interactive.
