Nursing Assistant Program

For individuals who are interested in ensuring the health, comfort and safety of patients, Our Nursing Assistant Program is the perfect fit. Patient care, anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, equipment, safety and emergency procedures such as CPR are included in the training. The National Nurse Aid Assessment Program Exam will be given on graduation to students who will receive a Certificate of Completion, which is approved by the State Board of Learning.

Our career centered program for Nursing Assistants, of seven week duration, readies students intending to assume their career as a Nursing Assistant, where they will be a much needed asset to hospitals, assisted living facilities and rehabilitation centers. Students will learn how to provide day-to-day routine care and how to respond to emergency situations, through not only class work but also a clinical externship that provides hands-on experience.
