There are six Platt College locations to completely serve the students' needs. The goal is to build a workforce of skilled and highly trained professionals who will respond positively to the needs of the workplace, both today and tomorrow.

During the admission process, students who wish to obtain financial assistance will need to get together with a financial services officer. Students showing financial need, who are enrolled at least part-time, and who show satisfactory progress in their academic career may be eligible for assistance.

Platt College provides Direct and FFEL Stafford Loans: Direct Stafford Loans are available through the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program while FFEL Stafford Loans are available through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program. Loans that are offered include subsidized, unsubsidized and PLUS (for parents of dependent students). Federal Pell Grants: These grants are awarded to help undergraduate students who need to pay for their post-high school education. Any student eligible for a Pell Grant can be awarded the total amount annually set by Congress.

A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is an award of financial aid provided to qualified undergraduate students to pay for their education. Students will be awarded this grant based on their financial need and the funds available.

Medical Assistant Schools

You will be prepared for administrative job duties in a medical office setting with an Associate of Science degree in Medical Administrative Specialist. Coursework will focus on such areas as billing and coding, scheduling appointments, medical transcription, and many office applications.

The Associate of Science Medical Assisting Degree program offered by Platt enables a student to prepare themselves for executing routine clinical and administrative procedures in the setting of a medical office. You will learn skills such as venipuncture, injections, physical therapy, and electrocardiography during your training. The administrative tasks you gain expertise in include scheduling, transcription, billing and coding.

Externship programs offer experience thereby enabling a student to gain valuable on-the-job training by practicing techniques which are taught in a class with focus on real-world environments with patients, doctors, and other providers of health care.
