Potomac College

You can earn a degree at Potomac College while tending to the things that are important in your life, like family and a job.

You will discover that finding time in your life for classes is easier than you thought. Classes may be taken 2 evenings a week, or on a Saturday. Up to six credits may be earned in a six-week time frame. In as little as 18 months, you could earn a Bachelor of Science based degree, if you have the proper prerequisites in place. Credits in the degree programs are earned through courses in both theory and theoretical application.

There are two types of programs at Potomac College. Admission prerequisites that apply to all majors are offered with a series of Lower Division Support Courses. The second, Upper Division 18-Month Programs give students the opportunity to finish their Bachelor of Science degree in health information, technology, and cyber-security in classes that offer theory and applied research.

Each degree program is comprised of core courses that will provide a solid background in that particular field. In addition to the core course, students take a series of courses in specialized areas, allowing them to pursue a program of study that will give them professional and personal advancement.

Advanced Certificate Programs

These programs teach professional skills necessary for transitioning between careers for many public and private businesses.

Certificates in advanced programs are appropriate for working professionals who already have an Associate degree or better.

Potomac College graduates will be offered programs if they have stated interest in wanting the required knowledge to get a career in the current job market, like business project planning end testing, business accounting, information systems management and security, and global business economics.

Financial aid, loans, and tuition reimbursement are just some of the many options we have developed for qualified students.
