Psychology is the study of how humans act, think and feel. People who desire to work in the field of psychology require a master’s or doctoral degree. Psychology is a diverse field with several career paths. Some examples of psychology careers include clinical psychologists, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, drug and alcohol counselors, school counselors and college psychology professors. Typical psychology courses include abnormal psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, neuroscience, research methods, social psychology, and statistics.
