Psychology Schools in Connecticut

Psychology schools in Connecticut offer a variety of educational paths that prepare students for a career in the psychology field. Most psychology schools offer four year bachelor’s degree programs that provide students with the fundamentals and foundations of the psychology field. Students who complete the bachelor program may continue on through the master’s degree program which requires an additional two years of study. Internships at local mental health clinics, schools, healthcare facilities, and substance abuse agencies are available to students their senior year. Many times the internship works into full time or part time employment. Special education classrooms and correctional facilities also hire interns.
