Some community colleges in the District of Columbia offer associate’s degrees in psychology while four year colleges and universities offer bachelor’s degree programs. A standard associate’s degree takes approximately two years to complete whereas a bachelor’s degree requires four years to complete. In order to apply for graduate school in psychology a bachelor’s degree is required.
