Georgia Psychology Schools.

Psychology schools in Georgia require four years of training in order to receive a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Most careers in psychology require a minimum of a master’s degree. School counselors, marriage and family therapists, clinical psychologists, industrial psychologists, and mental health social workers all require a master’s degree. Most students who graduate with a four year bachelor’s degree continue their education immediately in order to complete an additional two years of schooling. A master’s degree requires six years of formal education. Internship opportunities are available to students their senior year and national psychology clubs like Psi Chi offer programs for students to remain involved in the program.
