Salter College will provide students with financial aid on a basis of need. A student or their parents are primarily responsible for the financing of an education, but most students need additional ways to complete their educational goals. If a student qualifies, they can receive financial assistance.

Qualification for financial assistance and the corresponding degree of aid awarded will depend upon a financial necessities formula. Every situation is unique. The first step to applying for financial aid is to complete the FAFSA form, which will be available in your financial aid office. After receiving accurate applications, the college runs the numbers to see how much aid each person is qualified to receive. Financial need of the student is considered along with the level of funds available in the determination of the awarding of aid. The funds that are awarded remain confidential and objective.

A myriad of financial aid programs are available from the school. Grants do not require repayment and loans, which must be repaid upon leaving school, are two of the basic types of financial assistance that are offered.

The majority of programs offer externships. Generally, students will spend about three months in their declared field. Graduates frequently find employment as a result of the practical experience they gain in our externship program.
