Apollo Colleges Veterinary Assistant program offers updated career skills and practical experience to make our graduates fully trained animal care specialist. Under the direction of veterinarians, through our program, students receive instruction in caring for animals, as well as assisting in the operation of veterinary practices. Important subjects that are discussed are how to tend to illness, heal injuries, increase nutrition and improve the happiness and the lifespan of animals. The rest of the program subjects cover everything from the fundamentals of normal and emergency care, to communicating with animals, and understanding their behavior. To sum it up, we provide total-care training that is both for animals and owners.
